“The entire universe conspired to help me find you.”- The Alchemist
Parisian Boho; a Virginia elopement inspiration full of vintage whimsy and French surprises.
Celebrated at the Chilton House, a charming B&B in historic Old Town Warrenton.
It is a new day for elopements; once thought as taboo and secretive, they are now viewed in a
whole different light. They are sweetly intimate and full of loveliness; romance is welcomed and
decorative details can be highlighted instead of forgotten.
A modern elopement is the perfect opportunity for bold and beautiful florals;
with little to no need for reception florals, full dedication can be put upon the bouquets,
boutonnieres and ceremony flowers.
There’s something very endearing about a small wedding, it’s centered around
the only things that matter, the newlyweds and their love for one another.
Their playful and relaxed celebration allowed for so many lovable moments together;
without the pressures or chaos of a typical wedding day.
Warm and welcoming; The Chilton House’s parlor was filled with ambient candlelight,
vintage books and lush florals which made for a very inviting ceremony site.
The perfect setting for two to join as one, surrounded by their dearest friends
and family to witness E+J make their vows.
A bit of French bubbly made it official; champagne, artisanal breads,
herb-infused jams, wildflower honey and fresh fruit was enjoyed by all.
Crystal decanters and towered coupe glasses were paired with antique pocket literature, vintage candelabras, miniature french paintings and
golden nesting tables to decorate the bread and bubbly bar.
Gold chairs and gray tapered candles were brightened by vivid greenery. Jewel toned
flowers and berries brought life to Andie +Anthony’s secluded outdoor dinner.
A full patisserie display rounded out the dessert selection; two-tiered vanilla cream cake
not to be outdone by delicate macarons, lavender and chocolate eclairs,
profiteroles and fruit tarts.
Thyme infused apricot wine paired well not only with the patisserie sweets,
but gave a little bright balance to the French cheese course the newlyweds shared
privately after their guests departed.
As the sun set, Andie + Anthony were treated to an array of varied french cheeses, dried fruit and honey.
Such a lovely way to end their perfect wedding day.
